On October 26, 2019, we are changing how customers access the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and TEASi (international). To access and file forms, you will need to log in to a USPTO.gov account with a two-step authentication. These measures will allow us to better track filing activity and reduce misuse of our electronic forms.
You can get ready for this change by setting up a USPTO.gov account . We recommend enabling a phone number or using an authenticator application as a secondary authentication method. Email is enabled by default. Check our Apply online webpage for updates on the new requirements and future enhancements.

Customers using e-signature to sign TEAS forms or using the TEASi "send for review" feature will not be required to log in. For example, if an attorney requests a client to sign a TEAS form electronically, the client will not need to log in to the system to sign the form.
Third-party systems designed to interact with TEAS will likely be impacted by the new TEAS login requirement. If you need additional information as you prepare for this change, please send questions to TEAS@uspto.gov .
If you need assistance creating or logging in to your USPTO.gov account, see the FAQs on using MyUSPTO or call the Trademark Assistance Center at 800-786-9199 (option 1). If for any reason you are unable to file electronically, please see our alternate methods of filing .
